Vice President, U. S. Radium Company,
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
My dear Mr. Barker:
Re:
La Porte VS. United States
Radium Corporation
Mr. Markley sent me notice of the hearing on Friday on the
question of fees to Mr. Emmerglick.
I discussed it with the Company and they feel that, in view
of the fact that the Court of Errors and Appeals has held
that there is no coverage under the policy, they do not care
to expend any further monies in the matter, nor do they care
to have either Mr. Markley or myself appear any further on
behalf of your Company. They have requested me to notify
Mr. Markley not to appear on behalf of the Globe on Friday.
I would suggest that you communicate with Mr Markley and
make such arrangements as
you Yours deem very advisabl Cig
