Dr. Robley D. Evans,
Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
Cambridge, Mass.
Dear Dr. Evans:
Your letter of April 22nd advising that you are not con-
sidering further the small radium applicator about which we have had
some correspondence, is at hand.
I note with interest that you are reading a paper on "Radium
Poisoning" at the National Academy Meeting in Washington during the
current week. I expect to arrive in Washington on Wednesday Evening,
April 29th, and will be at the Carlton Hotel. I would appreciate
your advice as to the time and place where your paper will be pre-
sented, as I should enjoy hearing same. 1 shall endeavor to contact
you,as I am interested in the sensitive gamma ray detector which you
are exhibiting at the Meeting.
Sincerely yours,
HHBarker:DK
Vice-President
