Dear Dr. Failla:
We are sending you herewith by messenger 10.5
grams of U.S. free emanating compound which contains ap-
proximately 10.5 milligrams of radium element. This amount
of radium represents the recevery from the two needles which
you sent to our laboratories some time ago containing 4.81
milligrams and 7.04 milligrams radium elament respectively.
We shall be interested in hearing about the out-
come of your experiments to determine the usability of free
emanating compound as a substitute for the ordinary aqueous
solutions now used in radon collection apparatus.
