Dear C. B. You will remember that a few years ago you left with me a copy of the summons and complaint in the above action in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, together with a report to Mr. Barker by Dr. Flinn dated April 20, 1933. At the time you re- quested me to act as trial counsel in the above action for the defendant. Mr. C. Monteith Gilpin was the attorney for the Ansonia Clock Company. I imagine that this litigation has fallen by the wayside, but before finally marking the file closed I thought I had better inquire to ascertain its present status. There will be no charge for my services as they will be rendered merely as a courtesy to you.
