Dear Mr. Lee:
I have a letter from Mrs. Larice, dated March 4th,
in which she states that Mr. Larice has finally come home from
the hospital, but that in the meantime, she had had a bad fall
and Dr. Humphries felt that she should keep the woman she has
had to assist her in her housework for a couple of weeks more.
She states that she is planning to let her go on March 14th.
She also requests that she may be allowed to order
a new corset, as the one she has is over a year old and pretty
well worn out. She promises to come in to see me when the weather
is better.
If you will agree, will you kindly write her directly,
sending me a carbon copy, authorizing her to buy the new corset
and to continue to employ her housekeeper until March 14th.
Very truly yours,
LLayd F.Canner
