Dear Mr. Lee:
Enclosed is a batch of bills for Mrs. Larice dated from August 1,
1945 to April 1, 1946. I have not seen Mrs. Larice in some
months, and as usual with these bills, I note several items
that raise in my mind some question as to the need for the amount
of drugs she appears to have been buying.
I do not know how this matter can be looked into. It is of no
particular use for me to see her about it. On the occasions
when she does come over here to see me she always talks about a
number of complaints and tries to justify the use of this, that
and the other drug. Certainly such items as appear on the March,
1946 bill and the repeated purchase of Kotex, I do not understand.
I cannot help wondering if you are having your leg pulled, and I
therefore merely transmit the bills to you for your consideration.
Very sincerely,
L.K.S cann
