Mr. James A. Larice,
607 Nassau Street,
Orange, New Jersey
Dear Mr. Larice:-
We are enclosing check No. B 6691, in the amount of
$232.45, representing the last week of care for Mrs. Larice, and also
check No. B6692, in the amount of $150.00 representing the annuity
for the quarter ending December 11, 1946. Strictly speaking, the
check for $150.00 should be drawn to the Estate of Mrs. Larice, but,
since there is usually some delay and red tape involved in such cases,
we have drawn the check directly to your order, so that the funds may
be readily used.
We certainly sympathize with you in this period of
bereavement and regret that more could not have been done to lighten
Mrs. Larice's years of suffering. We do wish to say, however, that
during all this period, she was most considerate and seemed to fully
appreciate the medical attention which was given. It is too bad that
her condition was such that recovery seemed impossible.
We also appreciate the fine spirit which you personally
have displayed and wish you every success possible.
Very truly yours,
President
