I represent one Mrs. Grace Shea, of this city, her maiden name being Grace Seal, who is suffering at this time, from an active case of radium poisoning contracted while an employee in your institution some years ago.After years of undergoing phy- sical discomfort her condition was analyzed by eminent specialists in that field, as that of radium poisoning.0f course her condition will become progressively worse and the possibilities of curing or aiding her in any wise is very uncertain. Under these circumstances I feel that your in- stitution is legally obligated to render assistance to this un- fortunate victim, inasmuch as the same was contracted inthe course of her employment in furtherance of the interests of your company. At this time I shall deeply appreciate your in- forming me as to your intentions along these lines. Yours truly, SHN: SS.
