appointment to return to her home Saturday to meet her husband,
Louis Hussman. Returned as per appointment. Front door was
opened by a young woman whom I later learned was Mrs. Hussman's
sister, Mrs. Elsie Eyerkuss, who occupies the rooms on second
floor.
Ushering me into a front room, noticed Mrs. Hussman
standing at the dining room door with telephone in hand. In the
course of conversation on telephone she said "yes, you are right.
There is nothing left for us to do but stick to what has been al-
ready told. I expect to do that alright". Turning around she
noticed me sitting in the front room, immediately stopped talk-
ing, saying "well, now, I will call you later. There is someone
waiting to see me". Hung up the receiver, walked into the front
room without aid of crutch or cane. She is badly crippled,
walks with difficulty, swinging left foot over right.
Greeting me cordially said she was feeling somewhat
better but due to the fact the attorney persists in having her
undergo another examination before trial, she is inclined to be
nervous and very much upset. Examination will be made in the
presence of seven doctors on Sunday afternoon at the Newark City
