in our hospitals, the Red Cross and the Blood Donor prograns-these are
also evidence. of a nation's gratitude which every soldier, sailor and
airman can appreciate every day of the yeare On our part, the men and
women in the Armed Forces show their gratitude by taking the risks, and
making the secrifices even to giving t'eir 11 es so that the rest of
us might live in comfert and peace and security. Armed Forces Day
would be a truly successful American venture if each citizen would
search out just one member of the Amred Forces and let him know that
his efforts and secrifice are appreciated.
