the Chinese-American forces arrives at fiold and greeted by Brig.Gen.
Frank Merrill(of the famed Merrill's Marauders)--his ben marched 25days
over 8,000 ft. of mountain height to capture this field--Chinese artil-
1ery, set up on edge of field to back up the troops attacking the town--
wounded cared fore=even in the rain,emergeney care is given by the meds
headed by LECol. Seagrave-she operates as fighters cover the field over-
head--nurse gives transfusion--liaison plane pilot who spotted enemy
position, points it out to. Air Control officeTralooks at map and directs
fighter action to the spot
