cruisers USS BROOKLYN and USS NASHVILLE to the Chilean Navy=-Chile
Amb.delRio and VAdm. Holger of Chile Navy board the BROOKLYN and are
greeted by RAdm. Roscoe E.Schuirmann,USN,Commandant--ceremonies of the
flag hoisting makes the BROOKLYN now the "GENERAL O*HIGGINS" and the
NASHVILLE becomes the "CAPTAIN PRAT"
few days later,under simi
lar MDAP agreement, the BRAZILIAN Navy takes over the cruisers USS
PHILADELPHIA and USS ST.LOUIS--ceremonies with Brazilian Charge-de-
Affaires Afranio Melo Franco and RADM Araujo of Brazil Navy,also from
RADM Schufruann, who escorts Mrs. Vera Sauer, Brazil's Consul in Phila-
