during swearing-in ceremony but cannot take oath(his mother was member
of Communists Party in 1944 so he was ruled a risk only hours before
this ceremony) 2 more scenes same-chs ceremony-ege diplomas--cu them
handed out--graduates sitting, show Landy has only diploma, no commission
--toss hats into air
