So.India--var.scs.as e devout Hindus approach inccarts and on
foot for the Festival--sacred idols of Meenakshi and Shiva
are carried thru streets on fourth & final day--ropes are
attached to huge cart and pulled by the faithful--Idol of
Kallagar(Shiva¹a Brother) is taken to river where legend
says he went in a rage because he missed his sister's weddin
to Meenakshi
