Date 1945
Gunnery School,we see the use of newly-developed
"Frangible" Bullet for use in training Anti-aircraft gunners--the bul-
let does not penetrate but disintergrates on contact with plane-target
and registers a "hit" by means of a light in the plane's nose----------
SCENES: (Air-to-air scenes of fighters(F67s) fired on by B 17s--P-63
Fighters and B 17s ditto-Major Cameron Fairchild who fathered this
project watches,explains,etc--(silent)--he addresses officers and men
regarding the frangible bullet--scènes of various bullets leading to
the development of the Frangible------
