their way thru surf and rock to shoze--tamks advance across the island
and a tank and dive bomber attack on a Jap machine gun nest located
in an abandoned hulk--wreckage around island an' Jap prisoners and
Korean laborers

Feb.1944--crew of A B-24 bomber which started ona mission to bomb
Kowloon--serious engine trouble developed an' seven men were ordered
to bail cut--with load lightened ,pilot-engineer and radio operator were
able to bring the bomber home--twelve days later, five of the crew re-
turned to the base--two men are still missing-- interviews (in Sount)
with returned crew members
