....2553x2:8th AF Fighter Operations--don't know if this roll contain
actual combat footage or not-ecensorship had cut the life out of the
caption--ve only had the folcing names,evidentally of pilots whe gade
important strikes vs.the enemy:lc.J.E.Meller.ground targets destroyed
and damaged; Capt.Compton, enemy plane destroyed; Capt.C.E. Yeager, enemy
plane destroyed; Capt.Tuckor.locomotive destroyed; Lt.Oliver,IT train
destroyed; Lt.R.E.Barnhart, ME-109 damaged; Lt.L.B.Francis,ground tar-
gets destroyed & damaged; Capt.Wichers,ME=109 destroyed--these actions
vere all during Novem ber 1944--could be decoration ceremonies,too==
