BORNE ARMY, FRANCE--Sept.--lGen.lewis Brereton co of AAA wears the new
shoulder insignia of his new AAA command--in ENGLAND at airbase troops
march in review for Supreme Allied Coumender,Gen. Twight D. Eisenhower==
he inspects troops row by assembly area,gliders uncrated and
talising together--rations.equipment issued as gliders

in canal--horsepley while to work with the Engineers re-
moving live mines in the are--var.ses. sanceo-X2: (more on mine removal
workw-negro engineer battalion cleans up town of Valognes--bulldozers,
steamshovels, etc used--supplies move thru cleared areas--var.cleared
areas,signs up to indicate mines have been gemoved-eFrench civilians
moved to refugee area for Elizabeth visits U.S.soldiers'
hospital somewhere in ENGLAND Inspects kitchen,etcestalks to Gls
