war Fighter Ace--at present leading ace with 16 Jap planes to his cred-
ite-he at his piane "Fiery Ginger" namer after his wife with ground
officer Mej Rob. Russell --look over map--he takes off--var.scs.in flight
rolling,etc-=(the victory roll)--he now runs third in this area with
Joe Voss (26 kills) and Richard Bong (21 kills)--the two latter have now
returned to the states
