5th Army support throughout Italy-dive and attack bombers attack sup-
ply routes and marshalling areas of the Germans, north of Rome----in
SIENA, Tactical AF hit raliroad, transportation network hard-- also ware-
houses on both sides of tracks--in LEGHORN, railway installations struck
--also the docks, hampered sea traffic, too
in POGGIBONSI, rr bridg
on Florence-Rome rail line was hard to hit and easy to repair and was
therefore hit often and hard to make strikes effective--in INCISA-more
rail communications hit-bridge destroyed
in FURBARA, marshaling
