Date of 2/624/54
Patterson AFB, plane on ground and taking off--another
same-.Pilot AF Capt.H.E."Tom" Collins who took it up for this test
NOTE: (This MIG-15 was turned over to US authorities
by flight defecting No.Korean Senior Lt.HoKum Suk at Kimpo USAF Base in So.
Korea--it was quickly dismantled and flown via C-124 to Okinawa where in
it was re-assembled and groundtested and flown--it has been tested
various ways and compared or contrasted to several of our aircraft--
it has been adjudged inferior to our F-86 Sabrejects in several ways-- and
Plane then flown.disassembled, here to Ohio and taken apart
ananlyzed was and put back together again and flown=-DAYTON,OHIO--AVIATION
TYPES PLANES (Russian MIG-15 Jet)-
