wards to the water and takes off--cu in flight shows unique ski ar-
rangement--lands on water and taxis up ramp
INFORMATION: (ney
landing gear arrangement for the big Assault Transport that makes it
more versatile than regular Seaplane--gear is-in effect-two land and
water skis which are retracted beneath the belly dur ing flight and
land operations and are lowered a couple of feet for water,snow and 1
operation--in landing, wheels come down atop the skis to utilize the
shock absorbers in the gear wheels
