breaker, the USS GUNSTON HALL (landing ship, dock) and the USS PERCH
(transport submarine) get thru==scenes were fotoed from the BURTON
ISLAND--GUNSTON is in middle distance in two scenes and the PERCH is
shown in several scenes--water-tight stowage tank for amphibious equip-
ment is shown on deck of the PERCH--winds up to 50 knots broke seas hi
over bow the the Burton Island and rolled her as much as 30 to 40 de-
