The Future of Health Care
Mr. President:
I am extremely honored to be invited by the White House to write the following paper for
your review and consideration.
I like to tell people that health care is changing so fast that it takes me-a full-time
medical economist and health futurist-an incredible amount of time and effort just to
stay confused.
Hopefully, this brief paper will help you resolve some of the nation's confusion on health
reform as you continue your leadership in this critical area.
