McCAIN SENDS SECOND SET OF TOBACCO
QUESTIONS TO WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON, D.C. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Chairman of the Committee
on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, sent the second set of specific questions on the
proposed tobacco settlement to President Clinton today.
McCain asked the Administration to reveal its views and legislative recommendations
on a variety of tobacco-related issues including civil liability and evaluation of the
recommendations made by the state attorneys general.
