Dear Mr. President:
We write to thank you and your Administration for your budget
proposals regarding Puerto Rico.
All three of your proposals the permanent extension of Section
30-A, the devolution to the island of all rum excise taxes
collected by the U.S. treasury and the much-needed additional funds
for the health care of low-income children are very important and
will receive the enthusiastic support of all Puerto Ricans.
We look forward to continue to work with you on these and many
other of your proposals.
