U.S. Contribution to the UN Population Fund (UNFPA)
The UNFPA is the largest multilateral donor organization in the population sector and
concentrates its assistance to countries in the areas of reproductive health and voluntary family
planning, population policy, and advocacy. The President's FY 2000 Budget proposes a $25
million voluntary contribution to UNFPA.
