Dare to Dream is creating a video and community program entitled Actions Have Consequences that will be shown in 33,000 schools and in community programs nationally. We believe every student over the age of 12 will see the video. There will also be 3000 simultaneous Town Meetings linked by satellite. Dare to Dream Foundation, Wal*Mart, American Greetings, Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, Newell, and Manco announce a new Actions Have Consequences program. Lisa Long Lillian Vernon TIME Lillian Vernon Actions Have Consequences' video will address how all actions have consequences: i.e., teen mothers, drugs, drinking, violence. Jane Fonda will be the teen pregnancy expert. Teens who have made unfortunate decisions and overcome them will be the other interviewees. Invited guests will include school and Express Lincoln Center community leaders. The subject will be how to protect our children from violence and from themselves. Each community may have a slightly different approach as to what will work for them. Each school and community group will leave with a copy of the AHC video for their students. There will be 4 live links for the 3000 Satellite Meetings with role models, prominent national Barbara Roberts Elizabeth Murray Met Mus. of Art leaders, and teens who are in the video. We would like to invite you to attend a Town Meeting or to FPG tape a welcome to the community leaders. (Obviously, we would choose a location and date that are convenient for you.)
