SUBJECT: White House Briefing / National Conference of Lieutenant Governors
The National Conference of Lt. Governors, a bipartisan organization, will be meeting
in Washington next week. Currently, 24 Lt. Governors are scheduled to attend, including Lt.
Governor Gray Davis of California. I will be hosting this group for a White House briefing
in the Roosevelt room on Wednesday, March 8 from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. The President will
attend from 4:45 until 5:15.
I would like to invite you to briefly address this group, preferably from 4:25 until
4:45. Please have your staff contact Lawton Jordan regarding your attendance at this event.
