Jon, this is a follow up to our discussion concerning your
working relationship with Lynn Cutler and your staffing concerns.
Based upon my understanding, Lynn may need to plug into your
speaker's bureau network from time to time in connection with
issues concerning the hearings on Whitewater. This is in no way
limited to New York. Other areas of the country may be necessary
to target as well from what I am told.
I have discussed this with Bobby Watson, alerting him that
you will be getting requests from her organization (Back to
Business) and that it would be helpful if your operation were
flexible and cooperative. He did not raise any objection.
As far as staffing, I assume you are moving that request
through the regular channels at the DNC. Please let me know if
this is not the case or if you are unable to meet the needs of
Lynn because you are inadequately staffed at this time.
