Dear Jim:
I reply on behalf of the President to your 1 September 1994
letter to him as well as to your letter of the same date to me.
The President very much looks forward to joining you on your
show. Unfortunately, due to a number of prior commitments, he
will not be able to do this as quickly as he originally
anticipated when he spoke with you. I will, however, be working
with the scheduling department towards that end.
Hope things continue to go well for you. Next time you pass
through Washington, D.C. please call, I would very much like to
get together with you.
