SUBJECT: Carol and Seamus O'Cleireacain
Nancy, yesterday (6/7) the President asked me to find out if Carol and Seamus
O'Cleireacain would like to come to the Irish State dinner next week. During the Dinkins'
Administration, she was the tax administrator of New York City and was very helpful to the
President during the 1992 New York primary, especially in connection with the flat tax
advocated by Jerry Brown.
I spoke to Carol on 6/8. I didn't promise her or her husband an invitation, but said I
would see what could be done.
The President asked me to give this information to you.
