I attach for your information a memorandum Bill Galston sent to
George on Harry Truman and various steps he took after the 1946
elections that led to his victory. As we discussed Saturday,
Michael Waldman is following up on a more complete research
project on the second half of presidential terms.
I think we should meet this Saturday morning to continue our
efforts.
