Dear Mr. President:
We would like to make you aware of a project underway in Hot Springs to
secure the historic High School complex for use as an arts and cultural center
as well as a site for the future Clinton Museum.
Members of the Hot Springs arts and business communities have joined forces
with the Clinton Museum/Boyhood Homesite Committee to propose to our city's
Board of Directors that the buildings be used for these purposes.
We have enclosed our letter of intent to the city (which will be submitted on 1
May 1995), along with some supporting materials, and we will keep you
apprised of our progress. We welcome your input and would appreciate any
brief statement of support you might provide.
