Washington, DC 20502 Dear Lynn, I'm sending you a tape of my recent stories on Native American Entrepreneurship along with an extra tape to give to the President if he's interested (although I'm sure ZZZ he's too busy to listen to it, but I couldn't resist.) The woman I profiled in the first story is Rebecca Adamson. She founded First Nations Development Institute which sets up micro-loan funds in Indian country. Her assistant is Lela Shepard (540)-371-5615. P) A good contact related to the second story on entrepreneurship education at tribal colleges is Michelle Landsdown, Director of the Tribal Business Assistance Center at the Salish Kootenai Tribal College in Montana (406)-675-4800 ext. 247. Also, Professor Jeff Timmons at Babson College outside Boston would be a very good SM person to speak with (781)-239-4448. Timmons is perhaps the most respected R educator in the field of entrepreneurship. Professors from Harvard and a range of other top business schools attend a conference he gives every year on the subject. He's also part Native American and is consulting on some of these efforts to teach entrepreneurship education in Indian Country. Timmons is on sabbatical, but I'm told he'll be on campus Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. I'm also sending you a resource list I found while reporting the stories. It looks like it could have some other good contacts for you. Hope this helps. As a journalist, its great to think a story I do might bring some people together and make something happen. Sincerely, Chris Arndd Chris Arnold Reporter National Desk
