How to reach us: message to Bob Childers (via Adam Kolton) ph: 544-5205 fax: 544-5197 The Gwich'in people are the northernmost Indian tribe in North America. Most members live in 15 communities scattered across northeast Alaska and northwest Canada. We are the caribou people. We rely upon the Porcupine (River) Caribou Herd to meet the nutritional and spiritual needs of our people. We are seeking the support of the Administration to permanently protect the birthplace of this herd on the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. I apologize for the lateness of this request. I had been misinformed about how to request a meeting, and did not reach someone to set me straight until this afternoon. Sincerely, Bob Childers TOO P PAX 99:90 90 66/00/20
