Multicultural Diversity Award
NACo recently mailed approximately 2,000 applications to directors of county human
resources, community services, libraries, schools and museum across the country. The
application is also on NACo's home page under "What's new at NACo." Nominations for
this award will be accepted until January 16, 1998.
The purpose of the award program is to identify these outstanding county programs. The
nomination of your county program will highlight the dynamics of a diverse community.
Enclosed is a copy of the letter and application for your information. If you have any
