PL. 101-610 Divider Title: Office of National Service To: All Department National Service Contacts From: Peter Edelman Josie Heath Kate Frucher Laura Gassner Re: That Crazy Inventory Thing While the inventory of Departmental service-related programs is always going to be a "work in progress," it is done for now. The President is very pleased that we have begun to streamline or "reinvent" government in this fashion. Thank you so much for all your help. Please help us keep the inventory updated by sending us any information you come across concerning new service-related programs in your Department. Of course, we will continue to be in touch with you about other matters in the weeks to come. Attached are talking points for your Secretary for National Volunteer Week (this week). Please include them in speeches, talks, or any other appropriate forums held this week to highlight the "ethic of service" throughout the government. Again, thanks for all your help. Feel free to contact us at any point if you have questions or concerns. Clinton Presidential Records Digital Records Marker This is not a presidential record.
