I just got a call from Kelli McClure, who has been advised that
Fran was waved into the building. This is a problem, as I'm sure
you're aware: Since Fran works for an agency, she can't work over
in the White House for extended periods of time. She has more
than passed the point where she can be here.
Have you and Alexis discussed a solution to this? I thought that
Josh was going to be your assistant, as a long-term volunteer. I
know things are up in the air, but Fran is risking not getting
into the building at all. Unfortunately, since these are
Personnel and Security issues, based on rules the White House has
agreed to regarding staff numbers, it has to be dealt with at a
high level and very quickly.
