I know we will have a chance to touch base on how you have decided to move
forward in the compilation of the list, but I wanted to get you a few of my
observations as you proceed in figuring it out!
*If you are using the list you gave me a copy of, there are obviously quite a few
people who have come into the Administration. We should be careful to note the
roles they filled before taking these jobs, and make sure we are offering
substitutes where we feel it is important.
*Michael Bailin is no longer President of Public/Private Ventures. I believe the
new head is equally as impressive, and will get you his information if interested.
*I am not sure why we had James Fallows on our original list. Not only is it
interesting because he is a journalist, but, more specifically, he just wrote a long
asm
post-mortem on our health care plan for the Atlantic Monthly. I should probably
check with Mark, et al to see if this might ruffle a few feathers???

*Bob Greenstein is no longer the director of the CBO-we need to check protocol.
*Remember that Alan Patricof is the chair of the WH Conference on Small
Business, in addition to his company in New York He is a fabulous participant,
we just need to reflect his new, additional duties.
*I think the "real people" like Kathleen Piper need a little vetting(more to make
sure they have something to contribute than to check their politics). I think we
could get away with adding people, or substituting to make sure people are as
pagrap

illustrative of why we need the MCBOR, etc and from good states
-doit.
While still a good idea, we should check Ron Pollock based on health care role.
*I noticed one omission on this list of someone who attended last year and has
been to the White House subsequently. (Emily Woods, a friend of mine and
President of .Crew. (Also married to Sean Woods, producer).

*Last year, we had both Helen Mills (Mary Ann?) and Arnie Hiatt representing
both their own companies as well as the group, Businesses for Social
Responsibility. In addition, we may want to include the group's new director, Bob
Dunn, former Vice President of Levi Strauss and now heading BSR.
