As you all know, Chrystal is no ordinary farmer, nor is he an ordinary Democrat. I have attached his resume to refresh your memories, but the most important items come under his international leadership where he has summarizes the unique diplomacy roles he has played between agriculture and Russia. I feel strongly that we should include Chrystal in this trip and it would provide great followup stories in the Iowa press just two weeks after the rural conference. However, it is my understanding the the only individuals joining the delegation are veterans. Any assistance any of you could give to help move this request along would be greatly appreciated. 04/27/95 15:16 001, 003 (202) 224-325- TTY (202) 224-4623 10M HARKIN OWA COMMITTEES AGRICULTURE APPROPRIATIONS United States Senate SMALL SUSINESS WASHINGTON.
