ASTRAEA DOCKET 1994-95 GENERAL GRANT PROGRAM ORGANIZATIONS National Center for Lesbian Rights $2,000 Lesbians of Color Project 870 Market Street #570 San Francisco CA 94102 Liz Hendrickson 415-392-6257 NCLR is a lesbian, feminist, muticultural legal resource center committed to creating a world where all lesbians can live life fully, without fear of discrimination. The Lesbians of Color Project works to increase the availability of legal services to lesbans of color as well as the visibility and participation of LOC's in the leadership and membership of the lesbian and gay civil rights movement as well as movements of people of color. Grant will be used to cover costs associated with the LOC coordinator's community education and outreach-related travel National Women and HIV/AIDS Project $500 POB 53141 Washington DC 20009 Antoinette Young 202-289-4349 NWAP's mission emphasizes networking and information exchange; empowerment of HIV-infected women; education on general and reproductive health concerns; replicating innovative and useful women and HIV/AIDS programs among organizations; and increasing awareness and participation of women in HIV/AIDS public policy. Grant will be used for general support
