ABORTION
CLINIC PROTECTION BILL
*
The President strongly supports the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances
Act, which would make it a crime to use force to interfere with a woman
who has chosen to have an abortion.
*
It is possible to disagree on the issue of abortion, to demonstrate, to express
your views very forcefully, without engaging in physical violence or blocking
women from doing what it is still their Constitutional right to do.
*
It appears likely that both the House and Senate will pass this bill before
they leave for Thanksgiving. We certainly hope that they do, so that the
President will be able to sign it into law as soon as possible.
