MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF ALIENS
AGENCY: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Public
Health Service, HHS
ACTION: Final Rule.
SUMMARY: This final rule revises the interim final rule
published in the Federal Register May 31, 1991 (56 FR 25001),
implementing the health-related provisions of the Immigration Act
of 1990 (Pub. L. 101-649). This rule revises the list of
communicable diseases of public health significance, to include
only infectious tuberculosis; clarifies the definitions of drug
abuse and drug addiction; and includes technical changes to
conform with the revised list of communicable diseases.
EFFECTIVE DATE: [Insert date of publication in the Federal
Register.]
