hight fog all day . it
only about a hundred
feet thick - -or less Bright
sunlight but could not
see far,
Felt better today -oudect
reading in A,M. le Worked
on gas lamps after dinner
and Waurice look some
worrs of slip life slow.
until about 10 or 11 o'clode
It now stays light
and day breaks again
about 3 A,M, very
queer seusation to have
light so loug,
June 24 - Friday
aevabeved about 1:30 by
shouts on deck ungine
then stopped and soon
the whole ship was
shaken by a 5 udden
