the sky was superb with many
black clouds spotting it We
worked around for many

to look in vain we spotted
a cairu high on a oschy
point GiP, and Barvey went
upiand Dicky and disooled
around on the beach, found
several signs of necent
Eskims including five seals
cached beneath a a heap of 20dks.
By this time the sum had
shifted along just below
the horizon to about N.E. and
at 3 A.M. it came gloriously
over the hills with a flood
of golden light. I almost
forgot the half moon which
all this time had been
glouring brilliantly at opposite
the sunset.
