I may be way off but at any rate i* I thought it would not do
any
harm to lay this idea before your commission. Some good might
come of it and that is all I want.
Having been a Washington correspondent some years ago I realize
full well that this letter stands no chance of falling inte your
hands but it might,by luck, be submitted to the commission.
