We, and of parish or county of and State of do solemnly swear that we are neighbors of Mary Hamis and have been well acquainted with her for years and years respectively; that elie is the identical Mary Harris that she represents herself to be the Dister and Claimant of Robert Humis - who enlisted in the military service of the United States and served in Company H. 1ch Regiment and that we are not, jointly or severally, directly or indirectly, interested in any claim which the said Mary Itanis has or may have against the United States. Witnesses Sworn to and subscribed before me this day of , 187 ; and I hereby certify that the contents of the foregoing affidavit were carefully read by me to the affiants before subscribing their names thereto, and I know the affiants to be credible persons.
