We, and , of parish or county of and State of do solemnly swear that we are neighbors of Lavinia Brown and have been well acquainted with her for years and years respectively; that ehe is the identical Levinia Brown that the represents herself to be the mother and Claimunh of Samuel Dorsey alias Sames DDorsey . who enlisted in the military service of the United States and served in Company A , 38th Regiment and that we are not, jointby or severally, directly or indirectly, interested in any claim which the said Lamina Browns has or may have against the United States. Sworn to and subscribed before me this day of , 187 ; and I hereby certify that the contents of the foregoing affidavit were carefully read by me to the affiants before subscribing their names thereto, and I know the affiants to be credible persons.
