Gene. u.s stomeg Hashington City D6 I have the honor to transmit, for approval, the lease made by me (m que timp licate) of tug rooms as an Office, from Querton, of this place, The location is an exceedingly desirable one, being almost mathematically in the Center of the City, opening out on the primer/val. Publi Isquare, and not far. removed from the 1st Nation 1 Bank, which is I believe, recognized as a Public Defease its President. haring informed me that he had deposited with the Theasurer, of the W States, $ 100. a north of Bonds, In Comection with the fitting up of sa Office I muld State, that the followering articles there purchased by me, they being deemed necessary for the transaction of Public Business- Viz: One Desk 30, or One " 15.00 One large flat Office Table 8.00 Ten Office Chairs)2 being large Sega 25.00 Onery thing in the furniture line hero is Very hig self: purchasing plain but Servicable articles being brought from the north, Consequently I contentently I Experienced great difficulty m becoming rooms. Sutab for an Office. which will account formy delay man myself ready for the transaction of Mr Overton desires, that after approval, the on Copy of the lease may be trans mitted him through for file m his Office.
